Mostly it would be for commuting roughly 25mi to/from work in mixed traffic mostly on surface streets. Looking at the Rebel 250 because it's cheap and gets decent mileage, seems like a good starter bike and then once I'm experienced I'd get a Victory Vegas or Cross Country. Just don't want to spend $10k+ on a bike that I might lay down first
Got a stored motorcycle that won't start? Or even scarier - thinking of buying one? Here is how to get it back on the road. I will be using a 2009 Honda Rebe
Jan 25, 2010. #5. Since you have F250 w/6.8L, what ever oil you’re using with that will work fine in the Rebel. (Diesel 15w40) I would suggest changing it out the first time after 600 to 1000 miles, just in case the previous owner was a little relaxed in changing the oil. Then change it out every 2000 miles. Well that depends on what you want – but both are great choices regardless. The CB300F has an MSRP of $4,349 for the base model, while the CBR300R has an MSRP of $4,699 for the base model. #01. The Honda CRF250L Rally. Now for a genuine 250cc motorcycle from Honda: the CRF250L Rally. Sit on all the 250cc cruisers, one may fit you a little better. Next, the Suzuki Boulevard S40 has a single cylinder 650cc engine. It doesn't produce that much power, and the frame is small (though bigger than the 250s)- it is a great beginners bike. Another good starter cruiser is the Kawasaki Vulcan 500. Here they are. 10. Honda Rebel 300. Weighing just 364 pounds, the Honda Rebel 300 has the perfect proportions for a starter motorcycle. Its seat is positioned slightly lower than most bikes, adding extra safety for newer or shorter riders when they need to put their feet down. A couple bikes I've seen and are at least worth looking into are the rebel 500 (the 250 is too small), the vulcan S, the scout bobber, and the Ctx 700 and 700n (the difference is the n has less fairings). Buy a bike that you don't mind dropping while you learn on, and a 10k bike seems a bit steep.
The change or rather the enlargement of engines has done nothing but increase the popularity of the Rebel which basically is a cruiser motorcycle offering from Honda, perfect for anyone getting into the motorcycling world. Much like the Honda Rebel 250, the Rebel 500 is a perfect beginner’s cruiser, albeit with a slight difference from its
The MY 2000 Rebel is Honda's way to prove that even the small-displacement bikes can ooze classic styling. A bike for beginners who want to get a taste of what riding a cruiser is like or for those looking for cost-efficient transportation, the CMX 250 Rebel is simple, easy to handle and gets the job done.
Classic styling, reliable four-stroke power from its 250 cc air-cooled twin, effortless, confidence-inspiring handlingthat's the Rebel, hands-down the best entry-level bike on the road, in a nutshell. $1,900.00 9173340045. Trim 250 REBEL.
The Rebel 300 not only looks great, but the bike also has features that make it comfortable and easy to ride. The cruiser has a low seat height that makes it easier for shorter riders to put their
The Honda Rebel 1100 is a great beginner bike for those looking to get into motorcycling. It is a cruiser style motorcycle that is easy to ride and has a low seat height, making it comfortable for shorter riders. The bike is also relatively lightweight and has a low center of gravity, making it easy to handle. Additionally, the Rebel 1100 comes
Repeat after me: A Hayabusa or ZX-14 is not a good beginner bike for anyone— ever. As cruisers go, the Honda Rebel 250 has the shortest seat height of all, but that rectangular bit just
